“Just Give Me Jesus.” (Anne Graham Lotz, Jill Briscoe, Fernando Ortega) …”For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.” (John 1:17). Our world is crumbling before our faces. We are at a time in God’s calendar when the manifestations of His judgments are taking place. As a believer in Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I am asking other Christians, and Jews, to seek our Lord’s judgments to be fulfilled, but that we may also experience the truth of God’s sovereign purpose for the world to be seasoned with His grace…I would like to add a personal word of thanks to a very special saint, who lives in New York, for a time of deep and intimate discussion that led me to this train of spiritual thought. Before you click onto the following videos, please pay close attention to God’s Holy Word, as it is given to us through the Prophet Isaiah. Then, consider the message of grace that is contained in the songs of the videos.
Isaiah 55:6-11 New International Version (NIV)
6 Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call on him while he is near.
7 Let the wicked forsake their ways
and the unrighteous their thoughts.
Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them,
and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
There Is None Like You
Shout To The Lord
Jesus Is All The World To Me

Consider the Presence and Glory of God. Consider having the personal relationship that Moses had with God. Consider the reverence that Solomon had for God. Consider the experiences with the Glory of God that Ezekiel had.Take a few reverential minutes to read the following scripture passages that discuss these matters.
Psalm 19:1 King James Version (KJV)
“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.”
Exodus 33:7-11 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
7 Now Moses used to take the tent and pitch it outside the camp, a good distance from the camp, and he called it the tent of meeting. And everyone who sought the Lord would go out to the tent of meeting which was outside the camp. 8 And it came about, whenever Moses went out to the tent, that all the people would arise and stand, each at the entrance of his tent, and gaze after Moses until he entered the tent. 9 Whenever Moses entered the tent, the pillar of cloud would descend and stand at the entrance of the tent; and the Lord would speak with Moses. 10 When all the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance of the tent, all the people would arise and worship, each at the entrance of his tent. 11 Thus the Lord used to speak to Moses face to face, just as a man speaks to his friend. When Moses returned to the camp, his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, would not depart from the tent.
Exodus 40:34-35 King James Version (KJV)
34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
1 Kings 8:10-11 King James Version (KJV)
10 And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the Lord, 11 So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of the Lord.
1 Kings 8:14-15 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
14 Then the king faced about and blessed all the assembly of Israel, while all the assembly of Israel was standing. 15 He said, “Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who spoke with His mouth to my father David
1 Kings 8:22-23 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
22 Then Solomon stood before the altar of the Lord in the presence of all the assembly of Israel and spread out his hands toward heaven. 23 He said, “OLord, the God of Israel, there is no God like You in heaven above or on earth beneath, keeping covenant and showing loving kindness to Your servants who walk before You with all their heart,
1 Kings 8:54-58 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
54 When Solomon had finished praying this entire prayer and supplication to the Lord, he arose from before the altar of the Lord, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread toward heaven. 55 And he stood and blessed all the assembly of Israel with a loud voice, saying: 56 “Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised; not one word has failed of all His good promise, which He promised through Moses His servant. 57 May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers; may He not leave us or forsake us, 58 that He may incline our hearts to Himself, to walk in all His ways and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His ordinances, which He commanded our fathers.
2 Chronicles 5:13-14 King James Version (KJV)
13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord; 14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.
2 Chronicles 6:3 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
“Then the king faced about and blessed all the assembly of Israel, while all the assembly of Israel was standing.”
2 Chronicles 6:12-14 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
Solomon’s Prayer
12 Then he stood before the altar of the Lord in the presence of all the assembly of Israel and spread out his hands. 13 Now Solomon had made a bronze platform, five cubits long, five cubits wide and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court; and he stood on it, knelt on his knees in the presence of all the assembly of Israel and spread out his hands toward heaven. 14 He said, “O Lord, the God of Israel, there is no god like You in heaven or on earth,keeping covenant and showing loving kindness to Your servants who walk before You with all their heart;
2 Chronicles 7:1-3 King James Version (KJV)
1 Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the house. 2 And the priests could not enter into the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord’s house. 3 And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
Ezekiel 1:28 King James Version (KJV)
Ezekiel’s Experiences With The Glory Of God
“As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.”
Ezekiel 8:3-4 King James Version (KJV)
3 And he put forth the form of a hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy. 4 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain.
Ezekiel 9:3 King James Version (KJV)
“And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house..”
Ezekiel 10:18-22 King James Version (KJV) The Glory Of The Lord Departed The Temple.
18 Then the glory of the Lord departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims. 19 And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the Lord’s house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
Ezekiel 11:22-23 King James Version (KJV) The Departed Glory Of The Lord.
22 Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above. 23 And the glory of the Lord went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.
Ezekiel 43:1-5 King James Version (KJV) (The Glory Of God Returns And Fills The Millennial Temple After The Tribulation.
1 Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east: 2 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory. 3 And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face. 4 And the glory of the Lord came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east. 5 So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house.
“2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” ( 2 Timothy 4:2-4) The Apostle Paul writes about the condition of most of our churches today due to the lack of solid preaching about the need for salvation and repentance. Steve Hill is now with the Lord in Heaven. He had a great burden for those who were destined for a meeting with God at the Great White Throne Judgment, and an eternity in Hell. Don’t discount the fervor of Steve Hill as he preached his message, or of the reaction of the people who were expressing the realization of their need for repentance. The reality and finality of the Great White Throne Judgment is something that should not be diminished. For those of you who have not come to saving faith in Jesus, the following verses describe the appointment with God that awaits you.
Revelation 20:10-15
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
“But the Lord is in His holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before Him.” (Habakkuk 2:20). A courtroom setting is the scene. We need to humble ourselves before God and seek His mercy.
Tim Stafford, soloist, from the “Choral Festival of Praise” celebrating 27 years of music ministry of Gerald Edmonds at The Moody Church
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1). God? We know that You’re listening. We really haven’t been spending time with you…You see what’s happening to us! Please help!
Music video by Bill & Gloria Gaither performing “How Long Has It Been” (featuring Jake Hess and Ann Downing)
“Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love”(2 John 3).
Consider “grace” and “mercy.” Grace is something which God gives us, that we don’t deserve, such as the gift of eternal life with Him in Heaven. Because of God’s Mercy, we, wo are believers in Jesus, are saved from that which we do deserve, which is eternal torment and separation from God is an eternity in Hell.
As I watched the videos of the Mississippi Mass Choir, I had a very difficult time choosing only one video to put with this post. The man who is singing, Mr. Frank Williams, has passed from this life and is spending his eternal life with God in heaven. The expressions that I saw on the face of Mr. Williams spoke many words about his sincere love for his Lord, our Lord, Jesus Christ.
As Mr. Williams and the choir sang the old songs of the church, I was able to remember them as being some of the ones that were sung when I was a little boy. I can remember the Baptist, Methodist, Nazarene, and Churches Of God that I attended with my relatives. Most of those loved ones have also gone on to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus. One of my sets of grandparents attended a Church of God. It was there that I would find myself asleep on one of the wooden pews, as the evening would “continue on.” I had an “Uncle Charlie;” he attended a Nazarene church. If company would ever go to his house on a Sunday morning, Uncle Charlie would go to church, with or without his company. I remember that when Uncle Charlie died, the preacher couldn’t make it through his message of memorial without crying. It was at a Baptist church, at the age of ten, that I responded to the preacher’s message of salvation through faith in Jesus, and walked down the aisle and made a profession of faith in Jesus as my Lord and Savior. The pastor and church members gave me “the right hand of Christian fellowship.” It was not long afterward that I was immersed in the waters of baptism by that same pastor.
As a child, it was common for most of my friends and their families to go to Sunday School and Church. I remember that Sunday night church services were well-attended. Wednesday nights were popular, too. Vacation Bible School was fun. Revivals would last for two weeks, or more. In Baptist churches, we had a program for boys that was called “RAs,” or Royal Ambassadors. We had RA meetings on Wednesday nights where we would study the Bible and memorize scriptures. On weekdays we would have sporting events. I still keep in touch with my RA leader of “many years ago.” “Brother Louis,” who is now age eighty, coached boys at church and playgrounds for forty-three years. Many of his boys, including me, keep in touch with him frequently.
Mr. Williams, whom I mentioned earlier in this post, was about my age; I wish that I could have known him. People like him, and Brother Louis, and my Uncle Charlie, are manifestations of God’s grace and mercy. I am sure that there are many others who have been blessed by having such people to grace their lives.

(1/2) Grant Jeffrey – Rapture vs Second Coming
Many of you might remember the games that we played while we were kids. One of them was, “Red Rover, Red Rover, Send Cindy Right Over.” (Or, it might be Johnny or Suzie). Of course, Cindy, or Johnny, or Suzie hoped that they would have a nice welcome when they were “sent over.” The situation was that those who were being “sent over” had no choice over the matter; they were just, “sent over.” There was another game, “Ready Or Not, Here I Come!” In that game, “Billy or Bobby,” were making a decision to “crash your party,” whether you liked it or not. Unfortunately, for most of the people of the world, there will come an event that will be one that will be so dreadfully unwanted and punishing, that kids’ games, and other nice things, will be things of much of the world’s innocent past, never to be experienced again. This particular event will be that of “The Tribulation.” It is my hope that all who read this post will not be present during the Tribulation.
(2/2) Grant Jeffrey – Rapture vs Second Coming
Grant received his Ph.D. from Louisiana Baptist University and established himself as one of the sharpest minds in eschatology. He was held in great esteem by his colleagues. The ability he possessed to recall facts and figures without prompts while speaking at prophecy conferences around the world was remarkable. Grant Reid Jeffrey (October 5, 1948 – May 11, 2012)
Consider the two video teachings of Dr. Grant Jeffrey. They relate to the information that follows.
There are two sendings of God that will take place, that are uniquely different, but are part of His plan for the end times. (Eschatology is the study of what the Bible says is going to happen in the end times.) The first of those events that will take place is known as “The Rapture Of The Church.” The second is “The Second Coming Of Christ.” The Rapture is the event where Jesus comes in the air and catches up His church age saints and takes them with Him to Heaven. In this event, Jesus “does not” come down and set foot on the earth. During the second event, Jesus will physically come to earth (with His raptured saints with Him) and stand on the Mount of Olives to set up His Millennial, 1,000 year, reign on the earth. Consider the following verses that discuss both of those events that are “yet to come.”
John 14:2-4 New American Standard Bible (Jesus is coming to take His church age saints with Him away from the earth.)
2 In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. 3 If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And you know the way where I am going.”
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 New American Standard Bible (Jesus is coming in the air to take His church age saints with Him)
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:50-54 New American Standard Bible (This passage relates to the trumpet call of 1 Thes 4:16. The term “sleep” refers to death. At the time of the Rapture/Catching Up of the church, the bodies of the saints, dead and alive, will be changed to be “imperishable,” without flaw.
The Mystery of Resurrection
50 Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory.
The Word “Rapture” (ἁρπάζω)
The word “rapture” does not occur in our English Bibles. We get the word by way of St. Jerome (c. 347-420 A.D.). In his work of revising the Latin New Testament from the Greek New Testament, he translated the Greek word ἁρπάζω into the Latin “rapiemur.” The Latin verb form is “rapio” and means to be “caught up” or “taken away.” From these Latin words come our English word “rapture.” While Paul used the word ἁρπάζω only once (1 Thessalonians 4.17), he taught the doctrine of the Rapture in other places using other expressions. The Greek word ἁρπάζω means to “seize” or “snatch away.” It is used 13 times in the following verses: Matthew 11.12, 13.19; John 6.15, 10.12, 28-29; Acts 8.39, 23.10; 2 Corinthians 12.2, 12.4; 1 Thessalonians 4.17; Jude 1.23; Revelation 12.5.
Zechariah 14:1-9 New American Standard Bible (vs 7 shows the Lord standing on the Mount of Olives, and has His Holy ones with Him. Those will be the saints who were raptured away from the earth in the preceding verses. The Holy ones may also include angels. Jesus will then set up His millennial Kingdom. At that time, the Old Testament saints, and the saints of the Tribulation will be resurrected. Those saints, and the saints of all of the ages, will rule and reign with Christ during the 1,000 year millennial reign of Christ.)
God Will Battle Jerusalem’s Foes
1 Behold, a day is coming for the Lord when the spoil taken from you will be divided among you. 2 For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, the houses plundered, the women ravished and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city. 3 Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle. 4 In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south.5 You will flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel; yes, you will flee just as you fled before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord, my God, will come, and all the holy ones with Him!
6 In that day there will be no light; the luminaries will dwindle. 7 For it will be a unique day which is known to the Lord, neither day nor night, but it will come about that at evening time there will be light. 8 And in that day living waters will flow out of Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and the other half toward the western sea; it will be in summer as well as in winter. God Will Be King over All 9 And the Lord will be king over all the earth; in that day the Lord will be the only one, and His name the only one.
Revelation 19:11-20 New American Standard Bible (NASB) (This passage is similar to Zech 14. Jesus and His Holy ones, saints, return to the earth from their time of rapture. Angels may also be “holy ones.” The event is the spiritual “Battle of Armageddon,” where Jesus has a spiritual battle victory (vs 15) over the Anti-Christ, False Prophet, and those who support them. The Old Testament saints, along with the tribulation saints, will be resurrected, and the 1,000 year reign of Christ will begin.)
The Coming of Christ
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. 12 His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. 13 He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. 15 From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty.16 And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”
17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds which fly in midheaven, “Come, assemble for the great supper of God, 18 so that you may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of commanders and the flesh of mighty men and the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them and the flesh of all men, both free men and slaves, and small and great.” 19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies assembled to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.
Doom of the Beast and False Prophet
20 And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone.
The events of the rapture and second coming are real, and may be coming soon. It is important for us to know, without a doubt, that we have been born again, and that we will be caught up in the rapture, and will not be present when the Anti-Christ conspires to take control of the world during the tribulation.
Matthew 24:21 New American Standard Bible
“For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will.”
It is also important for us to know that we will not be present at the Great White Throne Judgment which occurs at the end of the 1,000 year reign of Christ.
Revelation 20:11-15 New American Standard Bible
Judgment at the Throne of God
11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
It is not the purpose of God to cause His people to be present during the tribulation, or to face its wrath.
1 Thessalonians 1:9-10 New American Standard Bible
9 For they themselves report about us what kind of a reception we had with you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God,10 and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath to come.
1 Thessalonians 5:8-9 New American Standard Bible
8 But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation. 9 For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
The desire of God is for us to be present with Him through all eternity
Revelation 21:1-7 New American Standard Bible
The New Heaven and Earth
1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, 4 and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” 5 And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He *said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” 6 Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.7 He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son.
It is not a time for guessing about our eternity, or trying to rationalize our salvation. The world “is not” “the tail that wags the dog.”
2 Peter 1:10 New American Standard Bible
“Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble.”
Let me be very direct. There are many people who should be very concerned about whether they will find themselves in the Tribulation, and if they will face the Great White Throne Judgment. I’m talking about the many members of the three houses of our government who claim to be Christians, but still support abortion on demand, same-sex marriage, and changing “freedom of religion to freedom of worship.” I am talking about our nation’s leader and the people who support his agenda. I am talking about the “lady of the left” who is a presidential wannabe.” I’m talking about democrats who continue to vote for those anti-God measures and who vote for those members of congress who vote for those anti-God measures. I’m talking about liberal judges who legislate from the bench on those measures, instead of interpreting the constitution. I’m talking about members of labor unions, educational institutions, the press and entertainment industries, liberal denominations, their pastors and members, and all others who support the ungodly laws that have been passed to support abortion on demand and same-sex marriages, and the forces of government that oppose freedom of religion, and try to change the guarantee of the bill of rights to “freedom of worship.” I am not doing anything by making this statement other than trying to warn all of you of the eternity that awaits those who will stand before the Great White Throne Judgment. Someone else, who knows you personally, should be telling you about the future that you have in the lake of fire. I am only telling you the truth of God’s Word. I don’t want any of you to spend your eternal life burning in hell. That is your decision to make; make it wisely. Consider the words of John 17:3. “This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” That passage is a text-book definition of what it takes for anyone to have eternal life with God. To know God is to have an intimate relationship with God. But, let me make this statement. Nobody who supports abortion on demand or same-sex marriage, or attacks freedom of religion, can honestly think that they have an intimate relationship with God.

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you.” (Psalm 122:6) “2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” (Genesis 12:2-3). “15 for all the land which you see, I will give it to you and to your descendants forever. 16 I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth, so that if anyone can number the dust of the earth, then your descendants can also be numbered.” (Genesis 13:15-16). “6 For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for His own possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth. 7 “The Lord did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any of the peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples, 8 but because the Lord loved you and kept the oath which He swore to your forefathers, the Lord brought you out by a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. 9 Know therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments; (Deuteronomy 6:7-9). As I was reading this post again, I noticed that I did not complete a thought that is very important. In the last few lines of this post you will find the following statement:
(In Ezekiel 38-39, we also read about battles of Gog and Magog which will take place during the first 3 1/2 years of the tribulation.)
The correct wording should be:
(In Ezekiel 38-39, we also read about battles of Gog and Magog which will take place during the first 3 1/2 years of the tribulation, but which may also take place shortly before the beginning of the 7 year tribulation.)
Please accept my apologies for any confusion that may have been caused by the omission of a phrase that is so very important to the understanding of such a very important subject.
The Day Of The Lord: “Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming. It is close at hand” (Joel 2:1)…” Wail, for the day of the LORD is near; it will come like destruction from the Almighty.” (Isaiah 13:6).
In this post a summary of some key events of the end times will precede a discussion of the same events that will be given by Dr. David Reagan, who serves as the Senior Evangelist for Lamb & Lion Ministries. Weekly broadcasts of Lamb & Lion Ministries are shown on such Christian networks as Trinity Broadcasting Network and Daystar. Recognized end-times scholars are regular guests on those programs.
The Battle of Armageddon takes place at the end of the Great Tribulation. The church age saints of God have, prior to this event, been caught up/raptured and taken out of the world to be with Christ during the 7 year tribulation, as we read of that event in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 and 1 Corinthians 15:52. These church age saints will be “the dead in Christ,” (1 Thes 4:16), and “those who are alive” (1 Thes 4:17). During the 7 year period that the tribulation is taking place on earth, the raptured saints will experience the Judgment Seat of Christ (2 Cor 5:10), which is only for believers in Christ, and is for the giving of eternal rewards. The marriage supper of the Lamb also takes place during this time (Rev 19:7). At the time of the Rapture of the Church, Jesus will not physically stand on the Earth, but will come in the air and catch up the saints. The time of Tribulation will begin at Revelation 6:1, and will end at the Battle of Armageddon (Rev 20:3) (see Rev 16:12-16), which is not a physical battle, but is one of spiritual dimensions (Rev 19:15, 21), as Christ is returning to Earth with His raptured saints, who have been with Him in Heaven ever since they were raptured (Rev 19 tells of the second coming of Christ, where Jesus will physically return to Earth and rule and reign with His saints for 1,000 years; Rev 19:11-14; Zechariah 14:1-5). The anti-Christ and false prophet will be cast into the lake of fire (Rev 19:20); their followers will be “killed with the sword which proceeds from the mouth of Jesus” (Rev 19:17-21), which shows that this is a spiritual battle victory. Satan is bound for 1,000 years (Rev 20:1-3), during which time there will be no sin on Earth. The returning saints, and those who are being resurrected (the saints of the Old Testament Age, and Tribulation Age) will also rule and reign with Christ for the 1,000 years (Rev 20:1-6; Daniel 12:1-2). At the end of the 1,000 years, Satan will be loosed and sin will return to earth. Those who oppose God and His saints will mount a final attack on Jerusalem at the Battle of Gog and Magog, which is another spiritual battle victory of God, where the attackers are killed and all evil is eliminated forever (Rev 20:7-9). (In Ezekiel 38-39, we also read about battles of Gog and Magog which will take place during the first 3 1/2 years of the tribulation.) Satan is cast into the lake of fire, to be with the anti-Christ and false prophet (Rev 20:10). This discussion has been very brief. If there any questions, please provide me with the details and I will do my best to provide answers for those questions.
The Shofar Calls Us To Get Ready. Let’s listen to the sound of a trumpet’s call, which is actually the sound that is made by the blowing of a ram’s horn, which is called a shofar .
Revelation 22:20: “He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!”

A lot of love has been discussed this evening, or night, or morning, or day; wherever you might be located. So, it seems to be appropriate to conclude the music with that of a wedding. It’s been fun, but I’m a bit tired, as I’ve been watching the clock move its hands clockwise toward an even later time of night.
With the touch of a fingertip on a computer keyboard, a blogger can take part in fulfilling what our Lord Jesus called, “The Great Commission.” Read the words that our Lord spoke to His disciples as he was preparing to leave this world for an upward trip to Heaven. Consider the Words of the Great Commission that you will find immediately below. The call that Jesus put on the lives of His disciples is one that continues today, in such a way that the love of Christ will find its way to anyone who does not know our Lord as their Savior.
Matthew 28:18-20 New King James Version
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
May our Lord Jesus richly bless you, and use you to spread His Word throughout the world. If you don’t know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, consider the words of John 3:16 and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”
1962, the year. Rome Adventure, the movie. Al Di La, the song. Troy Donahue, a great actor. Suzanne Pleshette, my heart-throb. You’ll have to check out my recent post, “Love, Let’s Talk About It.” (Posted June 9, 2015).
What a strange-looking couple; that’s what I thought when I saw them on their first appearance of “Where The Action Is.” That show was a summer time production of Dick Clark, that surfaced in 64 or 65. It had a California beach setting. Jimmie Hibbard and The Action Kids did a lot of dancing, and I wished that I knew “how.” Getting back to Sonny and Cher, I don’t think that they ever fell out of love.
Phil and Don, The Everly Brothers. Starry-eyed guys trying to gain the favor of starry-eyed gals. I really love the words of the first song; they were almost those of my life in my early 20s.
Even back in the early 50s, men were trying to break down the barriers that blocked the way to the hearts of the women that they loved. Will that ever change?
A former rocker of the 70s sings a love song to his wife; and she sings back! Check out the expressions of the people in the congregation. The Church Of The Apostles, Atlanta, Ga. I’ve been there. Really a great pastor!
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends” (John 15:13). During these times in which we live, there is a great lack of respect for those who have served our nation in the military services. May we never forget to honor and thank those who have served in all of our nation’s wars and other military campaigns. For those of you who have been following my blog, you have probably seen this post a few times in the past. It is during the night-time, and early morning hours, that my mind begins to drift toward things that are really important to me. This early morning hour has been such a time of memory.
The innocence of the 50s and early 60s had come and gone. Our nation was at war in Southeast Asia, or better known as Vietnam. The movie, “Good Morning Vietnam,” shows how a group of radio disc jockeys tried to make things better for our soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines, and coast guardsmen who were spending a year of their life trying to hold back the communist forces of North Vietnam. Robin Williams plays such a dj. I was in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. My time was spent in Thailand and The Republic of The Philippines, in support of the war effort, so I was very blessed and thankful that I didn’t have to enter an area of combat. I can remember the great service that the djs of the Armed Forces Radio And Television Service did to strengthen the morale of our military and civilian folks who were assigned to areas of Southeast Asia. Armed Forces Vietnam Network, and other AFRTS organizations did a great job of bringing the music of “back home” to a land that was a third world country. In my Air Force barracks in the Philippines, we had a group of those wonderful djs living with us. They were members of the Army, Navy, and of course, the Air Force. I can remember a great Navy dj; I think that his name was Ray Lorio. I trust that life was good to him after he left the Philippines. My tours of duty ended in 1971 in the Philippines, and 1974 in Thailand. Please consider the value of the video. It shows scenes from a movie that was about a very unpopular war. Horrible things were happening, as the movie shows, and the song may seem to be out-of-place. But, such songs were very important to our troops who would be spat upon once they returned home, due to the war’s unpopularity. So, sit back for two minutes and thirty-nine seconds and view a video about a very telling movie that starred a great actor, entertainer, and comedian, Robin Williams. Following the video, you will find a link to a site that will tell you more about the hero djs of the Vietnam War.

Consider the words of the song medley. Consider that a number of the singers have gone on to be in the Presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus. Consider the Holiness of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who is “God With Us,” who is Immanuel, who is Jesus…”For thus saith the high and lofty One who inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” (Isaiah 57:15)
The Sovereignty Of God – Holiness
2 Chronicles 7:14 New King James Version – Consider the action words. Consider the first action word.
“if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land”
Exodus 17:8-13 New King James Version: Consider the leadership of your congregation, and how you support them.
Victory over the Amalekites
8 Now Amalek came and fought with Israel in Rephidim. 9 And Moses said to Joshua, “Choose us some men and go out, fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand.” 10 So Joshua did as Moses said to him, and fought with Amalek. And Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. 11 And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. 12 But Moses’ hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. 13 So Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
The Purpose Of The Church; The Key Official/Can’t Do It 30 Minutes Weekly/Equip The Saints
Ephesians 4:11-12 New King James Version
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
Consider the opposition to an unbeliever receiving God’s Word.
1 Corinthians 1:18 King James Version (KJV)
“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God”
Consider the difficulty that an unbeliever and new believer have in understanding God’s Word.
1 Corinthians 2:14 King James Version (KJV)
“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
The Romans Road. A Road. The Romans Road. Consider the need for the road.
Romans 3:23 New King James Version. A given.
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Romans 5:8 New King James Version. God’s provision.
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 6:23 New King James Version. Risk and reward
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 10:8-13 New King James Version: A process… God’s grace.
8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”(that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Romans 10:14 New King James Version. Consider the preacher’s role. This may be inside or outside of the church building. The term, “preacher,” is non-gender specific (consider street side preaching) .
“How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?”
John 3:1-8 New King James Version. The solution for unbelief: The new birth.
The New Birth. Jesus explains that the Holy Spirit allows a person to have eternal life. Notice that there is no plan for the new birth to occur. The Holy Spirit acts on His own sovereign purposes to regenerate someone’s spirit.
3 There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.2 This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”
3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
4 Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”
5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
Revelation 20:11-15 New King James Version – The Holy Spirit attempts to prevent anyone from being present at the Great White Throne Judgment. Consider the following two verses.
1 Timothy 2:3-4 New American Standard Bible
3 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
2 Peter 3:9 New American Standard Bible
“The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”
The Great White Throne Judgment: This judgment awaits all who have not come to belief in Jesus.
11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
The Proactive Nature Of Jesus. Consider the steps that the Holy Spirit will take to draw people to Him.
Luke 19:10 New King James Version. The specific role of Jesus in salvation – proactive.
10 for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
John 6:44 New King James Version. God’s role in salvation – specific. Jesus explains that the Holy Spirit is responsible for all people to come to saving faith in our Lord
44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 6:65 New King James Version. God’s role in belief/granting permission/necessary for salvation.
65 And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father
The Purpose Of All Things
Romans 8:28 New King James Version. The purpose of all things – God’s purpose.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Consider the totality of God’s calling.
Romans 11:29 New King James Version. God’s calling is irreversible, for salvation or for spiritual gifts.
29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.
1 Thessalonians 5:23 New King James Version. The whole person will be called.
23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Those Chosen For Eternal Life
The patriarchs were chosen for eternity.
Matthew 8:11: “I say to you that many will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.”
The patriarchs and prophets were chosen for eternity.
Luke 13:28-29: “In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves being thrown out. And they will come from east and west and from north and south, and will recline at the table in the kingdom of God.”
Jesus chose His disciples; they weren’t looking for Jesus.
Mark 3:13: “And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him.”
John 15:16: “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”
Luke 22:28-30 New King James Version
28 “But you are those who have continued with Me in My trials. 29 And I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me, 30 that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
Romans 8:28-30 New King James Version. Consider an order of events. It is important to know that the purpose of God is not dependant upon anybody’s decisions or actions.
Consider the general and specific calling of the Holy Spirit. vs 28 (General) vs 30 (Specific)
Romans 8:28-30 New King James Version (NKJV)
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
Calling: General And Specific
John 1:9 New King James Version
9 That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. (general calling)
.
Beyond the purposes of God, it’s also important to know God’s abilities to do anything that He needs to do to bring about the His desired outcome. God may use election, calling or reprobation to accomplish such purposes. He is the Potter of Jeremiah 18; His created beings are the clay.
Jeremiah 18:1-6 New King James Version
The Potter and the Clay
1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying: 2 “Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.”3 Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something at the wheel. 4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make.
5 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: 6 “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?” says the Lord. “Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel!
Jeremiah 32:26-27 New King James Version . There is nothing than can prevent God from achieving the goals of His purpose.
26 Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying, 27 “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?
Clearly there is nothing that is too difficult for God to do.

14 And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her. 15 And she said, Behold, thy sister-in-law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister-in-law. 16 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: 17 Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the Lord do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me. 18 When she saw that she was stedfastly minded to go with her, then she left speaking unto her.(Ruth 1:14-18) … The story is that of a widow woman, who has two daughters in law, who have also been widowed. The mother in law, Naomi, encourages her daughters in law to return to their homeland where they can resume their lives. One daughter in law, Orpah, decides to return to her home country; Ruth, however, makes a strong statement of her decision to stay with Naomi, and lives up to that decision. Ruth later marries a man, Boaz, who is a kinsman of Naomi. They have a son, Obed, who fathers Jesse, who fathers David, from whom the family lineage leads to Jesus. This story of love between a mother in law and daughter in law is one that should be a model for all other such relationships.
Let’s consider God’s love. Sometimes, “it’s hard to explain.” When we consider the scope of God’s love, it goes “far, far, away,” from the world where we live, to the great expanses of outer space” (good news for astronauts).God’s love is truly, “beyond this world,” which explains “how much He loves us.” Let us now relate these thoughts about God’s love to the tender love story of a young man and young woman.
The year was 1962. I was fourteen years old. My home was in New Orleans, Louisiana, actually Gretna and Algiers. One afternoon, I looked at the movie section of the New Orleans Times Picayune and tried to figure out a good movie to see. There were many theaters in “The Crescent City,” so it took a while to decide on which one would have the best movie. I decided on the Avalon Theater, which was located in the downtown area of what is now known as “Algiers Point.” I road a city bus from the Mc Donoughville community of Gretna, where I lived, all the way to the theater. That is a time in my life that I will never forget, and would not want to forget.
The movie that was being shown was “Rome Adventure.” At my “tender age,” I was in love with the idea of being in love. The movie was about a young woman whose name was Prudence. She worked as a librarian somewhere in America. She wanted to go “to where they really know what love is all about – Italy.” So, she went! The role of Prudence was played by Suzanne Pleshette.
Almost magically upon her arrival in Italy, Prudence met a young man who had recently broken up with his girl friend. That man was Don, and was played by Troy Donahue. Love was truly in the air as Prudence and Don toured Italy together. As is shown in the movie, the love grows between Don and Prudence – love that is tender and innocent. You can not imagine how much I would love to have been Don as he was gaining the favor of the beautiful Suzanne Pleshette.
The Rome Adventure theme song, Al Di La, has been in my mind throughout the years. While Don and Prudence were on a date, and listening to Emilio Pericolli sing that song, Prudence asked Don to explain the meaning of “Al Di La.” He explained it like this. “It’s hard to explain. It’s “far far away, beyond the beyond, beyond this world; that’s how much he loves her in this song.”
Rome Adventure was truly a love story, because it was just that – a story about love – young love. There was nothing out of taste or character for either Suzanne Pleshette or Troy Donahue; oh how we need movies like that today. To help you to understand some of my thoughts about this movie, I have provided two links. The first, and opening, one will take you to the scene where Al Di La is being sung. The second one will show various film clips of the movie. I trust that you will get a feeling deep inside of you that will help you to remember, or appreciate, such a time in life. When we also consider the love story of Naomi and Ruth, and the illustration of God’s love, may we never forget the following scripture:
“Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:13)
Troy Donahue and Suzanne Pleshette later married, although I am not certain how long the marriage lasted. They are both dead now; such a great loss for the world.

Glen Payne And George Younce are now in heaven where they are singing in the Presence of our Lord Jesus. Their song, “Search Me O God,” is about a psalm of when David and Bathsheba sinned. Consider the words of the song and the words of the psalm. God’s forgiveness and cleansing are available for all who have sinned, regardless of the sin. I couldn’t choose just one of the videos. The messages of both recordings are needed to give proper credit to our two departed brothers in Christ, and to our Lord Jesus. The second video was made after Glen And George had gone on to be with the Lord. Please allow me to add a personal thought. A very special pastor, “Brother Frank,” sang this song at our church with the accompaniment of a special sister in Christ, “Sister Ethel,” in 1977. The song has stayed with me, as being one of the special ones of all time. Brother Frank and Sister Ethel are now in Heaven, too. The encouragement that Brother Frank gave me has encouraged me to sing this same song when I have had the opportunity to do so. Thank you, Glenn, George, Frank and Ethel. I look forward to the day when I may be with the four of you singing praises to our Lord and Savior, Jesus…(Psalm 51:1-4) “1.Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.”
