What a strange-looking couple; that’s what I thought when I saw them on their first appearance of “Where The Action Is.” That show was a summer time production of Dick Clark, that surfaced in 64 or 65. It had a California beach setting. Jimmie Hibbard and The Action Kids did a lot of dancing, and I wished that I knew “how.” Getting back to Sonny and Cher, I don’t think that they ever fell out of love.
Wow! “A lotta kissin’goin on!” The girl groups of the 60s were great. I really would have loved to have traded places with Troy Donahue!
Phil and Don, The Everly Brothers. Starry-eyed guys trying to gain the favor of starry-eyed gals. I really love the words of the first song; they were almost those of my life in my early 20s.
Such a simple love song; yet, so very heart filling.
The year was 1983. It wasn’t hard to see that Billy Joel was really “hung up” on Christie Brinkley.
Bobby Hatfield! Wow! What a voice! Singing a great love song in 1965.
Hank Williams Jr singing the heart-break songs of his father. Hank Sr. was the king of Rockabilly, passing in 1954.
