The Rapture. The church is taken to heaven to the judgment seat of Christ, the bema judgment (for believers only). The raptured believers in Christ will be in the Presence of God, where they will receive rewards. Then, the church will be taken to the marriage of the lamb, where the bride (the church) and the bridegroom (Christ) will be joined in marriage in heaven. During the time that the church is in heaven being prepared for the marriage, the tribulation is taking place on earth. After the wedding, the bride/church accompanies the bridegroom/Christ back to earth at the second coming of Christ for judgment at the Battle of Armageddon. Christ and the bride, along with angels, will physically stand on earth. At the rapture, Christ comes in the air, and returns to heaven with the raptured saints, without having stood on earth. At the second coming of Christ, He will stand on the Mount of Olives.

Author: Eternity

Things are discussed in this website that relate to God's creation, from "eternity to eternity," and all that is addressed within those paramaters. Consider Isaiah 43:13, "Even from eternity I am He, And there is no one who can rescue from My hand; I act, and who can reverse it?” The Moody Study Bible adds a comment: "God is the ruler of all, and there is nothing that can stand against Him. His will is irresistible. The Bible Knowledge Commentary adds this thought: "No one can reverse what God puts into action or thwart His plans."
