This opening video was made in 2009. Nine years later, nothing has changed. Israel remains a nation that is hated by most of its neighbors, and by most of the member nations of the United Nations. On November 29, 1947, the United Nations voted to grant statehood status to Israel, long after the Romans attacked Jerusalem in A.D. 70, murdering more than one hundred thousand Jews, destroying its Temple, and beginning a dispersion of surviving Jews from Israel. The Israeli Declaration of Independence, formally the Declaration of the Establishment of the State of Israel was proclaimed on 14 May 1948.
On May 14, 2018, UN Human Rights Council voted to investigate Israel for Gaza protest deaths. After 29-2 vote, with US and Australia opposed, Israel rejects council’s ‘hypocritical, absurd’ attempt to undermine right to self-defense, dismisses probe as ‘foregone conclusion. Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely said Israel would not cooperate with the investigation.

“The UN Human Rights Council prefers to back Hamas instead of supporting Israel’s right to defend itself from terror,” tweeted Hotovely. “We have no intention of cooperating with an international investigative committee that wants to dictate results without a connection to facts.”
Israel rejected the decision, saying all that it proved was that the council had “an automatic anti-Israel majority, where hypocrisy and the absurd held sway.”
Consider Israel’s history, as it relates to Gentile attacks on its people, its land, and its Temple.
925 B.C. Shishak, king of Egypt, takes the city; the temple is plundered. (2 Chronicles 12:9).
850 B.C. The Philistines, Arabians, and Ethiopians lay siege to Jerusalem (2 Chronicles 21:16). The King’s palace is sacked and the Temple plundered.
586 B.C. The forces of Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the temple in Jerusalem (2 Chronicles 36:19).
515 B.C. The Temple was rebuilt in Jerusalem, being known as Zerubbabel’s Temple (Haggai 1:1-15).
63 A.D. Herod’s Temple, which was a remodeling of Zerubbabel’s temple, was completed in 4 B.C., but was not totally completed until 63 A.D.
70 A.D.Herod’s Temple was destroyed by the Romans.

Consider the following news articles that relate to the hatred toward Israel, and the desire of its Arab and Muslim neighbors to destroy the only democracy in the Middle East. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy_in_the_Middle_East
Yasser Arafat, the former leader of the PLO was Egyptian. Opposed to the 1948 creation of the State of Israel, he fought alongside the Muslim Brotherhood during the 1948 Arab–Israeli War. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yasser_Arafat

Ever since the start of the second Palestinian intifada, a row has raged over who was responsible for the breakdown of the peace process. Now, for the first time, former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak has weighed in, accusing Yasser Arafat of being a liar who talked peace while secretly plotting the destruction of Israel. There has never been a nation of Palestine. After World War II, in 1947, the United Nations adopted a Partition Plan for Mandatory Palestine recommending the creation of independent Arab and Jewish states and an internationalized Jerusalem. After the establishment of a Jewish state in Eretz Israel, to be known as the State of Israel on 14 May 1948, neighboring Arab armies invaded the former British mandate on the next day and fought the Israeli forces. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_of_Palestine
Jerusalem is an ancient city located in ancient Judah that is now the capital of Israel. The city has a history that goes back to the 4th millennium BC, making it one of the oldest cities in the world. It is the holiest city in Judaism and Christianity and has been the spiritual center of the Jewish people since 1000 BC, when David the King of Israel first established it as the capital of the Jewish Nation, and his son Solomon commissioned the building of the First Temple in the city. https://www.ancient.eu/jerusalem/

Consider the hatred of Israel by its neighboring Arab and Muslim neighbors. The phrase that has become so very common among those that hate Israel is, “wipe Israel off the map.” It is amazing to know how many times that phrase has been stated, and recorded on search engines. About 1,780,000 results (0.47 seconds) is an amazingly hateful result of a search. If you search for that phrase, it will amaze you. Consider the following statement.
Consider other hateful statements directed at Israel. Iranian leaders’ calls for Israel’s destruction have not abated at all in the 20 months since the Iranian nuclear deal was signed, meaning that those who claimed the deal would moderate Iranian attitudes were completely wrong, former Foreign Ministry director-general Dore Gold said on Wednesday. https://www.jpost.com/Middle-East/Iran-News/Iran-continues-to-call-for-Israels-destruction-despite-nuclear-deal-481659

After no-shows in Jerusalem, Democrats also absent from Israeli Embassy DC party.
WASHINGTON — The inauguration of the new US embassy in Jerusalem was not the only event Monday celebrating the establishment of the State of Israel and the Trump administration’s dramatic change in US foreign policy.
Embassy says all were invited, after Jewish legislator says some Dems weren’t, to independence event; relocation of Embassy to capital, Gaza violence said to widen partisan schism.
Across the Atlantic, several hours after the ribbon-cutting ceremony in Jerusalem, the Israeli embassy in Washington hosted its annual event marking the anniversary of the nation’s founding. It’s usually a festive occasion featuring lawmakers from both sides of the aisle who go to see the ambassador and be seen. But this year, not a single currently serving Democrat was spotted in attendance.
It is amazing to think that someone would “sell their soul” for a vote.
With such a history of hatred toward it, by neighboring nations and by those far away from its borders, it is a wonder that any Jew could ever imagine that its land would ever be a place of peace and safety. But, Jews remember the writings of the Jewish prophets,” which tell of God’s protective hand of love for His chosen people, Israel. People, who call themselves “believers in Christ,” also hold the same beliefs.
Deuteronomy 7:6 New Living Translation (NLT)
6 For you are a holy people, who belong to the Lord your God. Of all the people on earth, the Lord your God has chosen you to be his own special treasure.

Zechariah 2:7-8 New Living Translation (NLT)
7 Come away, people of Zion, you who are exiled in Babylon!”

Isaiah 2:4 Living Bible (TLB) (Written by the Prophet Isaiah in 760 B.C.)
4 The Lord will settle international disputes; all the nations will convert their weapons of war into implements of peace. Then at the last all wars will stop and all military training will end.
Jeremiah 31:3 Living Bible (TLB)
3 For long ago the Lord had said to Israel: I have loved you, O my people, with an everlasting love; with loving-kindness I have drawn you to me.
As I write this article on Israel, I am drawn to the truth of a New Testament scripture, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). I have no mindset of spreading propaganda; my desire is to share the truth of the Jewish people, which is not being told in the mainstream liberal media. At present time, there are those of the industries of “liberal” media, entertainment, academia, and politics, whom are saying that our nation’s current situation at our southern border is like that of the Holocaust. Such a lack of truth is a total insult to the six million Jews which were murdered in the Holocaust of the 1930s and 1940s in Nazi Germany, as well as to the surviving Holocaust Jews. If anyone is interested in learning the truth of the Holocaust, and the children which were interred and murdered in the Nazi concentration camps, there are videos in my prior articles on the history of Israel that show the mangled bodies of men, women and children that were murdered with the full knowledge of the nearby German citizens. Unfortunately, those of the liberal press do not challenge their guests who equate any U.S.A situation with that of the true Holocaust. But, like I said, there are people who will sell their souls for a vote, or for a tv rating. I make it my business to know about the things that go on around the world. I follow the news reports of all media.
As a child, I lived in a city that had a significant Jewish population. I started elementary school with Jews, and graduated with them. I have found Jewish people to be wonderful people; as a nation, Israel will defend itself whenever it has been attacked. I am not a registered Republican; neither am I compensated for any of the articles that I write. My family’s roots are Democrat, reaching back to the time of the great depression of 1929.
