Notice the correct position of the Marine’s right hand as he holds his salute.
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
Citizens should stand upright and place the right hand over the heart while reciting the pledge. Men not in uniform should remove any nonreligious head covering.

I love seeing this! One of my favorite things in D.C. is the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier. I love the reverence and respect.
