The Twinkling Of An Eye

“in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.” (1 Corinthians 15:52 New American Standard Bible)

The opening video of this post is very illustrative, and true, of the things that will take place on earth, after the catching up of the saints occurs, and a seven year time of tribulation begins (John 14:1-6; 1 Corinthians 15:50-54; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). The video shows things on earth that will take place after all of the born again believers in Christ, whom are known as “the church,” are suddenly removed from the earth.  Confusion, chaos and violence will be rampant, and will lead to a time in world history that will be like that of none prior. For those, whom dwell upon the earth (earth dwellers, Revelation 3:10), the judgments of God will be poured out in the form of: an ungodly conqueror, conflict on earth, worldwide scarcity and famine, widespread death, martyrdom, cosmic disturbances, and other judgments of God that will lead to the second coming of Christ at the Battle of Armageddon.

Those “whom dwell on the earth,” did not accept Christ as their Lord and Savior prior to the catching up of the church;  in essence, “they were not born again.”  Small children, infants, and other people not having the mental capacity to make a decision to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior, will be made to be born again by God. There will be those whom are are left behind, that will accept Christ. But, there will be earth dwellers whom will continue to defy God, even as they see His judgments being poured out on the earth (Rev 3:10, 6:10, 8:13, 11:10, 13:8, 13:14, 17:8). The primary reason for the tribulation, as described in these opening two paragraphs, is for a time when God will judge sin, and will draw unbelieving Jews to accept Christ as their Messiah. The second half of the seven-year tribulation period is described by Christ in the following verse:

Matthew 24:21 (NASB)

“For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will.”

  1. I disagree. Sweetie. Jesus was not considered a man until age 12 or 13. Then He went into the Temple as an adult. Therefore we can conclude that children under age 12 are innocent until then, and not understanding what evil means, as adults, then of course all babies unborn are going to eternity with the TrueBeliever. The tribulation will only last 7 years so children under age 12 would not have have access to the written word of God like we do now. And babies would not have time to grow to adult of 12 or 13. Why would our God send children , mentally hadicapped and babies back to a hellacious earth?? The Word says in Hebrews Chapter 9 and Verse 27: “And it is appointed unto man once to die, and then the judgement. ” There is no reincarnation, to speaking to the dead, that is why our God commanded no Occult interaction. Because Necromancy is converseing with demons.

    1. John 3:3 is a spiritual happening. People are called to belief, God can also make someone to be born again. No one can go into the Kingdom with a spirit that has not been born again and made as pure as the spirit of Christ. I stated that God will make people to be born again, that did not have the mental capability of accepting Christ. I didn’t say anything about reincarnation. I didn’t make any comment about occult interaction. I think that we are on the same page. It is all about the new birth of John 3:3.

      1. 1 Thes 5:23 tells of the body, soul and spirit. The body is our toes to our nose. The soul is our mind, conscientiousness, emotions. The spirit is the part of us that dwells within the spirit of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Spirit is the part of us that must be born again, At conception, we have a completed spirit, that needs a savior. The body and soul are developing. When an embryo through unborn child does not make it to birth, God will give that child a born again spirit; God does not desire one of the “innocents” to suffer in hell. The verses in John 3:3 – 3:8 tell of the need to be born from above. 3:3 – 3:5 tell of that need. 3:6-3:8 tell of the way, which is by the Holy Spirit, per 3:8. At he time of the catching up (1 Cor 15:50-54), those in the grave whom are born again, will have be resurrected with their perfect spirits joined by their resurection (perfected) bodies and souls). Those whom are alive at that time, will have their perfected spirits, joined in perfection by the resurrection (perfected) bodies and souls, which will happen when Christ takes with Him to the Presence of Christ, all living and deceased believes in Christ. 1 Thes 4:13-18 explains the same thing, as does John 4:13-18. In regard to your question, God does not let those whom are unable to make a decision to for Christ, (whether by mental incapacity, or by not being born.) leave this world in an unsaved state.
