What are the Ezekiel 38 war and the war of Gog and Magog?

In Biblical studies of today, there are some which focus their studies on Israel of the Old Testament era (B.C., Before Christ). There are others which focus their studies on the end times of the New Testament A.D. (Ano Domini). Probably most Bible studies are focused on the time of the church age. However, this Equipping Site will have a focused study on “Israel ‘in’ the End Times.” A study of Israel, “without a study of the end times is derelict, in regard to the purposes of God for His chosen people, Israel (Deuteronomy 14:2). A study of the end times, without including Israel in such a study, would provide an empty shell, that only Israel could fill. A study of the church, without the inclusion of Israel and the end times, would only be a story about twelve disillusioned Jews, eleven of whom found favor in a charismatic figure known as Yeshua HaMashiach. Other “disenfranchised” misfits of the first century A.D. in Jerusalem, and surrounding Judea, would have found this “non-conforming rabbi, Yeshua” to be someone that would be sympathetic to their plight in life, especially the women. So, to tie together, “B.C. Israel and the A.D. time,” when the crucified and resurrected Yeshua will return to earth, there must be an inclusion in this study of the people which were known as “believers in Christ” (John 3:16), and whom eagerly await the return of the Messiah, Yeshua, for the establishment of a thousand year kingdom on earth (Revelation 20:4), and a new Heaven, new earth and New Jerusalem as an eternal state (Revelation 21:1-2). The articles in this site will discuss (1) Israel, and (2) Israel in the end times.
