Philippians 3:10 New King James Version (NKJV)

10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

Today, I received a text message from a special friend in Arizona; please know that I have more than one friend who lives in that beautiful state. But, on this day, a special text came from a very special lady, as it relates to this post. The lady said in her text that she had read Philippians 3:10 today. Then, she said, “And I want to get to know Jesus Christ better.” May I add, “that’s what it’s all about!” That passage explains the day-to-day experiences of life, as we follow and serve our Lord. The inspiration that came from my friend resulted in the assortment of Gaither videos that are seen in this post. Many of the videos go back to the early 1990s. Many of the singers have gone on to be with our Lord Jesus. In order for those special singers to have gone on to such a heavenly and eternal place with our Lord, the singers had to have had a relationship of intimacy, of knowing Jesus as their Lord and Savior. There is a passage of scripture that is a textbook definition of what it takes to achieve eternal life with Jesus, John 17:3. Consider the word “know” in that passage. That word relates to being intimate with Jesus, in the highest meaning of the word, “know.” Consider the words of that verse which state that eternal life is the result of someone having an intimate relationship with God, the Father, through God, the Son, being empowered by God, the Holy Spirit.

John 17:3 New King James Version (NKJV)

3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

The theme of these songs is “Heaven.” I trust that as you listen to the words of the songs, and you see the emotions of tears of the singers, that you may come to a more intimate relationship of “knowing our Lord Jesus” now, and that you will have as assurance that you will spend eternity in Heaven with our Lord. (tears are permitted)

Author: Eternity

The Church is the Church, and Israel is Israel. The Church did not replace Israel, and is not spiritual Israel. In the New Testament, “church” and “Israel” are mentioned as being separate entities. In the New Testament “church” is mentioned 112 times; Israel is mentioned 79 times; both are mentioned as being separate entities The Kingdom “has not yet come,” and will not come until the Jewish bloodline of Israel accepts God’s chosen king (Deuteronomy 17:15), which will take place at the end of the Tribulation when the nation of Israel faces decimation and calls on Messiah, Christ, in faith, to save them (Zechariah 12:10). Individual salvation is of the Jews (John 4:22), and comes through Christ (John 14:6). Things are discussed in this website that relate to God’s creation, from “eternity to eternity,” and all that is addressed within those parameters. Consider Isaiah 43:13, “Even from eternity I am He, And there is no one who can rescue from My hand; I act, and who can reverse it?” The Moody Study Bible adds a comment: “God is the ruler of all, and there is nothing that can stand against Him. His will is irresistible. The Bible Knowledge Commentary adds this thought: “No one can reverse what God puts into action or thwart His plans.” The articles that are found in this site may relate to anything that is found in the Bible, from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21. I would like to add a word of caution concerning blog writing and personal security. Many of my followers reside in foreign lands, of which many are hostile to the Word of God. Therefore, I will not provide my name, place of residence, or anything else that could lead a person to know anything about me. I recommend that all writers adopt the same method of personal security.
